The Most Stunning Metal Gear Solid Artwork
It’s hard to believe that the original Metal Gear Solid was released nearly a decade ago. Now that Metal Gear Solid 4 is ready for release, I thought it would be fitting to see some artistic interpretations of this famous franchise. (If you haven’t already, check out some of the past Game Art collections)

Amazing! 😀 But that was expected from such an influential game. Too bad no one (except maybe the last pic) tried to recreate the style of the original artwork from the games.
I suppose I had high expectations for this one as well. I was hoping to find maybe one or two more super-impressive ones, but I’m still pretty happy with the results.

Some of those are great! The MGS4 Solid Snake and The Sniper are great, the first one at least deserved to be in the article IMO. 🙂

what the hell, those are all shit. none of them even come close to the official artwork.

The dark shady light is almost the same in this artworks as it was in the original game drawings.
@bob they aren’t intended to be close to the orignal. A true artist will put their own interpretation on the piece.

I wish I did. I did manage to track down one of my favorite Zelda ones on eBay. But most of these artists don’t sell prints….
