How To Open/Burn BIN Files Without CUE Sheet
There are two main formats for Sega Saturn, Sega CD, and Neo-Geo CD game images — BIN/CUE and ISO/MP3. Both formats will require you to have what is called a CUE sheet.
However, all is not lost if you do not have one.
If you have a ISO/MP3 image and don’t have a CUE sheet to accompany it, you have an easy way to generate one on your own. There is a great piece of software called Sega CUE Maker. I’ve posted it on racketboy.com and have it availible for download.
Just tell Sega CUE Maker what folder the ISO and MP3 (or WAV) files are stored in and it will generate a proper CUE file for them. It’s worth mentioning that you may want to create a dedicated folder for the game so no other files get mixed in.
Now if you have a BIN file without a CUE sheet, you will need help from somebody else. You can’t just generate a CUE file with only a BIN file. You will have to get the proper CUE file for a certain game from somebody that has the game. I have a good selection of games, so if you are missing a CUE file, post your request (for a CUE sheet only) in this forum thread. Either I or somebody else in the community should be able to help you out.
