The History of The King of Fighters

Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves ScreenshotI’ve always been a big fan of gaming history. I also love 2D fighters. So imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this nice article about the History of The King of Fighters series.

While the article is about 2 years old, it does round up the series up until KOF 2002. I also appreciate the fact that it doesn’t require you to keep clicking to the next part of the article 🙂

Enjoy.

99 was always my favorite, though I have not played every entry in the series. The dreamcast version is very impressive, with 3d backgrounds, arranged music, and great presentation. The last fight with Krizalid is epic.
