Game Shopping in Japan: Famicom Dojo

Vinnk from 4ColorRebellion recently posted a great profile and interview about a local video game shop that is about ten minutes away from his place in Japan, named the Famicom Dojo. It sounds like a quaint little shop that I could only dream of. The were one of the first stores in Japan to sell used video games and have been successful for many years. They have a great deal of customers and specialize in used Nintendo games and merchandise.

While I greatly appreciate the freedoms and cultural things that we have here in the States, I can’t help but be jealous of all the retro game stores they have in Japan. Maybe someday I’ll make a visit.
