This is quite annoying, I don't know if anyone else has had this problem with ebay.co.uk..
On quite a few ebay shops that send from Japan to anywhere worldwide, if I try to make a best offer I'm forced onto the log in screen of ebay.com (I'm, in the UK so use co.uk). My uk account doesn't work on .com and I don't want to set up a whole new .com account. The odd part is I can buy it now from these shops as well as bid on auctions, I just can't make best offers. =/
Ebay Best Offer problem
Re: Ebay Best Offer problem
I have an UK account as well as you, and had no problems with Best Offers apllied on american sellers from ebay.com ..
I've got no signature.
Re: Ebay Best Offer problem
Could it be a firefox problem? I've tried with a PC and a laptop and got the same results, but haven't tried in IE yet.
Re: Ebay Best Offer problem
Might as well give IE a shot. It wouldn't surprise me if ebay had some kind of IE specific logic.

Re: Ebay Best Offer problem
Just tried it in IE and got the same exact problem. Gah.
Re: Ebay Best Offer problem
Just change the url from ebay.com to ebay.co.uk. If it's not working, it might be that the seller doesn't ship to the UK.
Re: Ebay Best Offer problem
Tired that to no success, plus the seller says he sells to anywhere including the UK. =/
Re: Ebay Best Offer problem
Aha! I found a way around it. I went to 'contact seller' and there was a link to making a best offer on the item that worked. =)
