Ebay Best Offer problem

Post by GagaMan »

This is quite annoying, I don't know if anyone else has had this problem with ebay.co.uk..

On quite a few ebay shops that send from Japan to anywhere worldwide, if I try to make a best offer I'm forced onto the log in screen of ebay.com (I'm, in the UK so use co.uk). My uk account doesn't work on .com and I don't want to set up a whole new .com account. The odd part is I can buy it now from these shops as well as bid on auctions, I just can't make best offers. =/

Could it be a firefox problem? I've tried with a PC and a laptop and got the same results, but haven't tried in IE yet.

Might as well give IE a shot. It wouldn't surprise me if ebay had some kind of IE specific logic.

Just change the url from ebay.com to ebay.co.uk. If it's not working, it might be that the seller doesn't ship to the UK.

Tired that to no success, plus the seller says he sells to anywhere including the UK. =/

Aha! I found a way around it. I went to 'contact seller' and there was a link to making a best offer on the item that worked. =)
