Skies of Arcadia
Skies of Arcadia
I just got a dreamcast and love RPGs. I was wondering what people though of Skies of Arcadia, or are there better RPGs for the dreamcast than it?

I agree, Skies and Grandia 2 are must play RPG's on the DC. You could try EGG, its a sort of SNES Zelda-ish and interesting. Shenmue has rpg elements and is adventure/exploration based. There isn't really anything else great RPG wise worth your time unless you can read Japanese.
I know someone suggested Time Stalkers....but I think that game was a waste of time. Evolution 1 & 2 are ok at best, i'd recomend it if you like dungeon crawlers or you're a fan of the Dark Cloud series. hmmm..what else is there. Phantasy Star online was cool, but without the online capabilities it's not worth it. Just check out the PS2 version instead. This is a big reason why I sold my DC the first time, I was a huge RPG fan and there was just nothing to keep me interested.

Best RPG EVER
When it came out Grandia was getting the Hype, but something about the concept made me try Skies first, and it was the best choice I had made in a somewhat under the radar game since a video game store clerk on Nassau Street in NYC tiped me off to the 1st Tenchu on PS1.
Skies and Lunar: The Silver Star (Sega CD) are my two fav rpgs of all time, and yes I played FF7
