How were the JPN Dreamcast online fighters?

Post by jay_red »

Was just wondering this recently, I am curious to know if anyone had any experience with playing any of the fighters via 56k. I know that they had to be laggy as hell, but were they kind of playable? I mean for capcom to include it with their games, it had to be somewhat useable I would think.

This is something that I've thought about for... a... LONG... time. I've always wanted to know. As a matter of fact, it wasn't until just recently that it was confirmed to me that CvS2 on DC and PS2 was cross compatible in Japan for online matchmaking. I was I even informed on how it was done. Needless to say I was quite happy to find out if it was true. I recalled reading it in a gaming mag as a kid.
