So I bought an item from eBay, and it has already been about 10 days since my payment but the item is still haven't marked as shipped.
Earlier today I tried sending an eBay message to the seller, asking for confirmation whether my item has been shipped or not.
Then just now I got an e-mail from eBay Loss Prevention Department stating the "listing for the following item you bid on has been removed", followed by another eBay email, "Account Security Communication Partner Warning" stating that the "account (the seller's) was recently found to have been accessed by an unauthorized third party, who may have used the account in an attempt to defraud other members."
Then I checked the seller's account and he's now a Not a Registered User. eBay must've removed him. Now I want a refund of my money; should I really attempt to contact the seller directly through his e-mail or just open an Item-not-received dispute through/with PayPal? I'm still kinda new to this whole eBay and Paypal thingy TBH.
