Either everyone is inserting their Wii discs upside down, or Nintendo has contracted Sony's Disc Read Error flu bug. I'm seeing dozens of unique snapshots of this screen all over 4chan /v/.

The only system I ever bought at launch was the Dreamcast, and that baby is still kickin' like the first day. And I bought the Cube about a month after launch, and never once saw the DRE screen. So I'm finding this difficult to swallow. This isn't like Nintendo.
I got the dreamcast a couple weeks after launch, and it had no problem. However, I bought a 360 a few months after launch, and it had a few cashe problems.(got a new one now, thank you warrenty)

Color me surprised.
God I hate that phrase...Actually I wouldn't say that necesarrily. While maybe not as many PS3s are having this problem, many more PS3s are just flat out breaking. So, I'd rather have a firmware brokie wii than a total brokey PS3, considering how much better nintendo is about fixing their broken systems.

Yeah, would you rather your console give you an error message, or would you rather it just flash a red light on the console, indicating it is dangerously hot, or listen while it carves your disc to oblivion?

Really? Because in the last 2 days I've read a grand total of 3 people complaining about non-working PS3s (youtube video included). While I have however read about a dozen threads regarding Wii's giving people D.R.E.'s, 110213 error code's - and just flat out bricked units that never turned on to begin with.
Which to me seems like egg in every Wii60 fanatic who claimed PS3s were going to be shoddy, poorly designed pieces of shit that would break more than 360s did (haha more egg on the Xbots faces!), and how Wii would be near-flawless.
I think to date, 360 has the greatest ratio of faulty launch hardware (or atleast the most amounts of units reported faulty in its first year) in the last 20 or so years. Moreso than PS2, PS1 and NES.

Even though your 3:12 ratio is wrong, keep in mind that that ratio is very similar to the numbers of PS3s and Wiis sold as well.
