Kind of the opposite here. 90-100 degrees & 80-100% humidity daily... we hide indoors lol. Summers have always been filled with a couple hours outside & recovering indoors in front of a game :)

Just used up all my credit to get kirby return to dreamland at gs. I could of used the credit to get a ton of chep games but I think Kirby will just go up later on and its getting hard for me to find a complete copy.

I think this has been asked before but i cant find it. Does anyone think when you purchase a game on the virtual console, that its part of your personal collection? Its not owning the cart but i would rather pay 8.00 for games like musha and 9.00 for rondo of blood than to actually paying for the carts. Plus i like how i go into the menu and there is a little of everything.

Well I count it. It's the same as the classics titles I own my vita and ps3. But I think honestly unless there's a crazy price on a game I'll buy them physically. I just like putting a disc or cart in if possible when I want to play something  Though that is how I'd been playing majora's mask since somehow I'd not owned that one as a kid(the n64 didn't get much love back in the day and it's kinda sad...)

See that's how I feel. I have a genesis and would rather play games for the genesis but other than that I dont own anything else so that's why I like to buy on the vc.

Yeah that's why I've been slowly but surely getting the systems that i know I'll want to play games on. So if the game isn't too expensive or wouldn't take up a huge chunk of my gaming budget I'll buy it physically unless there's a true compelling reason to buy on vc. I mean right now I'm only one system short in my personal collection and that's n64. While the one from my childhood still exists I don't want to take that from my dad just in case he wants to use it for some odd reason since we play the death out of that thing from time to time.

Now back on subject....

Local GaneStop has two CIB copies of Xenoblade Chronicles. I haven't been keeping up with that pricing fiasco. They're $49 & in good shape. Should I grab them? Worth more? Think they'll retain their value?

As a RPG fan I want them but would likely rather put that $50 towards a new gen console.

It is a great game, and you should grab a copy so that you can play it. That said, I don't think that the game's price will be going anywhere for a while. I see multiple copies of Xenoblade Chronicles every time I visit a Gamestop, and I think that supply is currently outstripping demand.

same-sies. All my local GS's seem to have 2 or 3 in stock at a time.

Question: Any reason to not grab the PAL version as that one seems to go a bit cheaper?

The hassle that goes along with importing a game and modding a Wii, I suppose.

Plus, you have to deal with extra u's in certain words.
