At first glance, it reminds me of the 3 DS titles which makes sense. Hop on the 3DS VC & DL the first three NES titles now! Save states will be your friend. Master one level at a time. A luxury I didn't have as a kid. As a confession, I've never beat SotN.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Somewhat embarrassed to admit that I'm not that acquainted with the Castlevania series. Only installment I've actually completed is Symphony of the Night. Soul of Darkness is reminding me of the old 2D Castlevania games though, or at least what I've played of them.Jagosaurus wrote:Been meaning to DL this for some time. Let me know how it stacks up to Castlevania. It'll definitely be one I grab before DSi Ware severs go down.BoneSnapDeez wrote:

Also, nice Amiga finds. Danggit, now you have me researching Amiga, ST, & Falcon prices. My wife will be thrilled if my retro gaming hobby expands into vintage computers
And you may have noticed I'm a big retro computer guy. It's much easier to collect for the 8-bit systems - the ones that use cartridges.
Hm, ok interesting. I'll look more into the 8bit line and XEGS also which if I understand is essentially a consolized 65XE. Expect some PMs on getting these to run on modern monitors and my CRT.
