I was always surprised Streets of Rage & Panzer Dragoon didn't see arcade ports although they originated on consoles.
Yes it was but it was unfortunately a heavily watered down port in visuals in framerate performance on the SS. It was a solid effort considering the differences in hardware tho. I'd recommend trying out any of the home ports (DC,XBLA) of its sequel Oratorio Tangram which is easily the best installment in the whole series, has an small but loyal following still and the home ports are Perfect or better than not to mention cheap.

Streets of Rage technically did get an arcade release via the Mega Tech hardware which was somewhat like the Nintendo Play Choice 10.

Crazy Taxi, House of the Dead 2, & Space Harrier are easily my favorites. When I'm in the mood to play something quick, I always play either of these. :) Console of choice is Saturn for Space Harrier (got the import version almost a year ago), and Dreamcast for Crazy Taxi & HotD2.
This user really likes SEGA Saturn. Avoid at all costs.

How silly am I to forget this beautiful work of art!

That is right. Samba De Amigo the arcade machine. Oh how sweet is this maraca-ed machine that I could ever dream to touch, to shake, to dance?
