Screens, 2" blinds, & backout curtains can bring down temperatures several degrees in Texas summer heat! Really helps reduce the AC run time.

Looks great :D now if you do stick to 2 chairs then might I suggest theater like seats/recliners? Not going to lie my aunt and uncle have those in their tv room and it looks amazing and they're comfortable too
