I have so little hope that it'd be a Metroid game. When the most exciting thing to happen to your favorite franchise is that the main character got put on the middle of the cover for a game in a different series, you know it's time to give up.

I know it may just be coincidental but did anyone notice during the invitational smash celebrity match that Zelda Williams came out with a majoras mask prop....just sayin' what if that's it? Held it to make sure it was seen and even set it down where people in audience should/would notice it...makes me wonder

Nintendo has announced a brand new IP for the Nintendo 3DS. It's codenamed S.T.E.A.M., and it has the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto behind it.

S.T.E.A.M. is a huge cel-shaded JRPG that is being sold as arguably the biggest upcoming 3DS game. Steam is a major element in the game, and nearly everything in its fictional world revolves around it.

Nintendo specifically requested that no photos or videos be shown for now. We'll have to wait to hear more.

S.T.E.A.M. will release in 2015.

Nintendo has announced Code Name S.T.E.A.M. for 3DS, a new IP and game created by Intelligent Systems.

Revealed at a developer roundtable tonight, Code Name S.T.E.A.M. takes place in London during the Age of Steam, with a cartoony, steampunk art style.

Nintendo of America actually applied for a trademark of Code Name S.T.E.A.M. a couple of months ago, but no information was detailed at the time.

INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS! ... fire emblem, advanced wars, & paper mario... nice pedigree.

I don't think that there is a video. I've been looking around for a while but I'm pretty sure they aren't streaming it. Just announcing what is happening via Twitter :/
