Crystal Dynamics seems to be expressing some interest in the Legacy of Kain franchise again. I was hoping that Embracer's recent acquisition of Crystal Dynamics would shake loose some old IPs from Square-Enix's stranglehold. I personally want a full-blown remake of every game, but I'd settle for a compilation with Blood Omen 1-2, Soul Reaver 1-2 and Defiance.

Also, I want full-blown remasters of the Gex and Pandemonium games, a la The N. Sane Trilogy.

Got some Christmas presents wrapped yesterday, and NOT just because I wanted an excuse to play Christmas music in October.

So far, I got my niblings a handful of DVDs, a few board games and some books, as well as a toy for Link and Zelda. I still have a few things I want to get the kids (Ghibli DVDs, graphic novels). I also want to get a present for my Mom. If she's got an oven in her new place, I'll definitely get her one of those rolling pins with the designs etched in for making cookies.

Got a few more presents for my niblings, including some DVDs, board books for Link and Zelda (based on Marvel IPs) and…

Giant Size Uno decks and a Disney Kingdomania starter sets. I don't know if the kids like BTS, so I didn't get the BTS version of Giant Size Uno.

And I was wrapping a few presents I noticed…

I wouldn't have enough tape. So I bought a three pack from Ace for 7 bucks since they only had shipping tape at Dollar Tree and Food Lion didn't have the exact variety I needed (they only had double sided and wall-safe tape, both were $4.29 each ).
