I actively avoid any radio station that isn't NPR.
I realize you're an elitist east coast liberal professor who wants the terrorists to win, but do you really have to fit every part of the stereotype?

I'd typically be wounded by your criticism, but I just bought a new tweed jacket and nothing can get me down today.

If that jacket doesn't have elbow pads, you have failed.

And usually I would agree with Dish on his NPR quote, but:

For the first time in years I've really enjoyed pop music. Also for the first time in years I've pretty much hated all new rap. Bruno Mars, Swift, Perry, Grande, Iggy...There music is mindless fun and their videos are captivating and..well, again, fun. Plus it's pop. People should be reminded that pop means "popular" so musical integrity is an afterthought. i don't expect a symphony from someone who does Coca~Cola commercials, but I will say Taylor Swift is a damned good song writer.

She's also cuter than an otter floating on his back.

Moving on...

If there isn't a gum company that doesn't have Pete as a sponsor, we live in a world full of gum companies ran by idiots. If I had the keys to the Big League Chew car, I'd be selling tons of neon green gum with Pete's mug slapped on the package.

The little bit of Sports Center I did watch featured Pete saying "Well, we were going to run it third and fourth down".

I'm not the world's greatest mathamagician, but if you are the goal line and your RB averages more than three inches per carry, you run the ball.

Do those come with the leather elbow patches already sewn on or do you have to do that yourself?

Is that picture of Jeremy Lane real or what? If so, I think I may throw up.

Yeah it is real.

I read some comment I thought was funny.

"He'll be fine."

You are one step away from inviting the first year graduate students over for a potluck. There's no better way to show off your million dollar home than by having a bunch of new recruits (who are deep in student loans) buy, prepare, and serve you dinner. Even better if you throw in some conversational rhetoric about class divide while completely ignoring the situation in front of you. At least, that's how the professors did things in my program.

Dave should be able to afford a new home with all the savings on the free consoles he received.

LOL @ free consoles!

I'm going to derail the off-topic and talk about football for a moment

Pretty cool I played high school football against Earl Thomas (he's a year younger than I am). Back then he played running back. I use the term "I played against" lightly.... guy was a beast. Awesome to see him doing so well.

Also, went to college with Michael Bennett. Spoke with him a few times in passing. Nice guy who was clearly frustrated last night. He had a heck of a game though.

Was pulling for the Seahawks bc of those two guys and I enjoy watching Wilson. Tough way to lose.

I still enjoy college football so much more...
