This is Finkelstein. He was getting a good brushing. Afterwards he chased bubbles for a while, and subsequently vented his frustration at the ephemeral nature of bubbles on his catnip pillow.

In my non-scientific opinion, she looks like a Brittany Spaniel to me (not to be confused with Britney Spears).
Edit: On second thought, I think she looks more like an Australian Red Border Collie to me.
