Been playing a lot of FE: Radiant Dawn. Great game. I miss the Support system in Awakening but otherwise the game has far grander battles. The story is pretty gripping too. Lots of dialog.

I was in Gameshlop today and saw The Last Story, a game I never really paid any mind to. Think it would be good for somebody who prefers shorter, more action packed RPG games like myself?

Well WD had nothing to do with the decision to put it on Saturn. That was up to the developer, SunSoft. The game didn't end up being released until 1996 (in Japan) and I assume by that point it was assumed AO would fare better on a 5th gen console.

Not doubting you... but how did WD have a say later in the game in their boycott of the PSX (& then flip back over due to Bernie joining Sega)? If WD is translating & publishing, they have some pull. I obviously don't know enough about the dev/publisher relationship lol.

I've picked up FFVII and started to push through it again. The story picks up a bit near the end of disc one. Shame thats like 20 hours in.

The game is getting better. It's enjoyable enough now I'm in the right kinda mood for it. It's still probably the weakest of the Final Fantasy games I've played so far though.

WD was just a localization company. Their boycott was simply them deciding what platforms to localize games on; the game needed to appear on that platform first before they could localize it.

Ahhh makes sense Popo. I though always thought they published as well.

@ Bonez... what's your take on the DS Ys Book? Been eyeing it for a bit now.
