I don't think anyone questioned why she was in it. It's more along the lines of, "who keeps going to see these things and why are they encouraging all these installments?"Ack wrote:You guys realize that the writer/producer/director of the RE films is married to Milla Jovovich, right?
So what have you guys been watching lately?

Jo Jo Bizarre Adventure anime 1st season. I played the Dreamcast game 18 years ago without watching the manga/anime. To my surprise, I've got to say the anime adaption is quite good although the end of 1st season has not touched upon the story in the DC game.

Is it the same on DC as 3DO/PSX/SS? What came first, the game? Seems like an odd choice of source material if so. Interesting.kitkit.com wrote:Jo Jo Bizarre Adventure anime 1st season. Recently I went back in time and watched all of:
Wonder Showzen (circa 2005-2006)
Xavier: Renegade Angel (circa 2007-2009)
Both of these series were batshit insane and hilarious. Shame I missed them back then, but they held up well.

Started watching Iron Fist over the weekend, seem alright to me. Very curious where it goes and I like The Hand as an evil force.

I finished Archer Dreamland - which was the best work they have done yet.
Started Stan Against Evil, which is what I wanted out of the Evildead TV show.

Just finished the final episode of Season 5 of "Orange is the New Black", and...
wow.
I know I say this after every OITNB season finale but I cannot WAIT for next season! Also, they got a lot of mileage out of only three days' worth of events, which is roughly how long it took me to watch it, though most of that was binging T-E-N episodes after work Saturday night. Seriously, I didn't go to bed until 10am!

I recently started watching Black Mirror. This show is something else. I watched the first three episodes and now I'm skipping ahead to the first episode of season 3.
It's an anthology series, with each episode being a stand alone story and world. The common theme that runs throughout the show is technology and social media's affect on society. Be forewarned that this is dark satire.

15 Million Merits is great. The rest are only OK. I did like the Christmas special with Jon Hamm, though.strangenova wrote:I recently started watching Black Mirror. This show is something else. I watched the first three episodes and now I'm skipping ahead to the first episode of season 3.
