My favorite QT movie is like 5 of them, but I have seen Death Proof soooooo many times. There's just something about it that I adore. Well multiple things that I adore. Since you brought up Dagon, if you want to go the really weird and more artistic route, there is The Call of Cthulhu, a silent film made in 2005 based on the Lovecraft story. I like it, but I'm weird.
