Frown: Someone I respect shared this with me:

http://io9.com/superhero-movies-ranked-1717934837

It's a page that shows comic book movies, has a sentence about the plot, and somehow that is a way to rank movies.

I'll share the pirate pictures. Ugh. Oh boy. And yes I know, Dread wears a black shirt, not a white one.

One simple trick to turn turn your wife into a Princess..Hint, it's not the tiara!

Here's how it went today... After mixing the cocktails, I told the CEO of the museum "I'll wear a suit with a Pirate tie, and my wife will have an ECU pin".

The response sounded like a Sherman tank coming out of a man's mouth: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!".

I look goofy enough as it fucking is. Sorry for my lack of tact, but I am handsome...but not in costume. No matter what cloth I am clothed in, I'm going to look like me. So I'm going to be "Big broken nosed German Pale Dread Pirate Roberts"...complete with Adidas low tops. How appropro.

And my wife really wants to wear normal clothing with a "hat or eye patch". At the same time she's told me "Roberts only wears black!". Well pirates don't wear Vera Wang either, so pipe down you.

This event could be successful, but it's still a weird one. It will be fun, but it's also a bit diametric. It's half costume party, half tropical party.

My beef is that we're a football team town celebrating our team...with no football currently being played. It's a weird thing for 50+ couples to want to dress like pirates when they could be wearing shitty khaki shorts and dumb t-shirts while dancing to stupid beach music.

They also have a tendency to get boat loads of hits.

... I should start crapping some out myself.

It's cause the format makes them super easy to skim during a quick break. You can read the top 10 superhero movies on the can. A tome on the development of analog joysticks, and their impact on game design? Not so much (I hope).
