Did I mention I snagged Wild ARMs 1/2, Breath of Fire IV, Flashback, and Gravity Rush on PSN? Because I did. ;)

I also don't remember if I mentioned snagging Mighty Switch Force 2.

The last bundle I snagged had Freedom Planet and Crimzon Clover, among others. Already had Vanguard Princess.

Mega Man X4 (PSN)
Mega Man X5 (PSN)
Breath of Fire IV (PSN)
Fighting Force (PSN)
Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (PSN)
Soviet Strike (PSN)
Sim Theme Park (PSN)
Extreme Pinball (PSN)
Hi-Octane: The Track Fights Back (PSN)
Magic Carpet (PSN)
Nuclear Strike (PSN)
I'm kicking myself on some of these. Chalking it up to a flaky PSN and just plain my mistake but can't believe I didn't grab Fighting Force during that sale. And of course after I regretted not grabbing EVERY PSOne game (hey I did get Championship Bass!) as I think it'd be totally cool to have them all on a Vita memory card.

Looking forward to the next sale now.

MARCH 2015 MTD!

 Zero pick-ups for March. Updated my YTD list below for Jan & Feb.

For anyone who follows the "what made me smile/ticked me off" thread, you'll know my wife & I had our first kiddo in mid March :D all my free time (and cash ) went towards this.

Unfortunately, I had my YTD money in/out tracking file for this thread saved on my work laptop which stolen. I know I was somewhere around $65 spent so we'll settle on that moving forward. Nice, solid list below so far for the cost of one current gen game new.

2015 Total YTD Acquired List:
3DS eshop
Shovel Knight
Castlevania
Castlevania 3
Dig Dig
Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya

DS
Radiant History (new)

PS2
Battlefield 2 Modern Combat (CIB)
Delta Force Black Hawk Down (CIB)
Half Life (CIB)
Raiden 3 (CIB)
Drakan: The Ancient Gates (CIB)
Demon Stone (CIB)
Lord of the Rings Two Towers (CIB)
Lord of the Rings Return of the King (CIB)

Hardware/Accessories
PS2 Component Cables (new)

Yeah I cut waaaaaaay back once my munchkin came along. I also declared then that I was no longer a "video game collector" (though that status was dubious in the first place).

I hear ya. I've always considered myself a casual collector but I'll definitely be acquiring less for a few reasons, mainly space/room & adding to savings. Definitely not looking to sell off any though, as I know it's something we can enjoy together in a few years.

My dad & I played games fairly often. I have him to thank... or blame lol, for my involvement in the hobby :)

For now, I see myself gravitating towards handhelds, mainly bc they're easier to place on sleep/hibernate, play in bite sized chunks if needed, & I can be in same room as family. 3DS is about to get even more use! I might pick up a DS Lite for GBA as well. I'll be adapting my collecting & playing habits :)

Would digital copies of games be applicable to this thread? Cause I've copped more stuff on Steam recently than I typically would.

So, I went out of town yesterday, and found a nearby GameXChange.

I had to go twice, because my first visit was a rush (was running behind to get to my location), but I generally had more time the second time around.

I got (in order);

Body Harvest (N64): $7
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest (NES): $7
Wetrix (N64): Free (Buy 2 Get One Free deal for games $7.95 and under)
SEGA Bass Fishing (Dreamcast) (Disc Only): $4
Fishing Controller (Dreamcast): $5
Ristar (Game Gear): $2

And I almost got a Sonic X Game Boy Advance Video cartridge, since I needed it to round out my Sonic collection more, but I backed off of it, when I realized the store was selling it for more than what I wanted to pay for it.

Best purchases (IMO) were SEGA Bass Fishing (with the controller), and Ristar. Worst was probably Wetrix, but I blame the fact that I had no idea what I was doing, as to why I didn't like it. lol

Any thoughts?
This user really likes SEGA Saturn. Avoid at all costs.
