I forgot to update in June, so here's an update for both months:

Walmart looks to be clearancing out a bunch of stuff lately, including games, so I managed to pick up some (3DS/PS3) games I didn't have for fairly cheap. Figured I'd pick up a few good Ninty and Square titles while the getting was good. Actually, two of them ended up being a dollar or less and they're still periodically putting new stuff up on the clearance shelf, so I may have to keep a close eye on that store.

I also went out of town and found a new game store. Some of the prices were kinda all over the place, but I did find some imports that were very reasonable. I honestly just really wanted Romancing Saga 3 for the sweet looking box art.

I added GrimGrimoire for the Sony Playstation 2 this evening!

The first thing I bought for myself at my new home, besides the necessities, was a new game shelf. I actually have an entire room dedicated to holding my game collection, so I finally have the space for a second game shelf. After many hours of cursing and two blisters, the game shelf is sitting next to its brother. With all of that finished, it is time to start adding games that I bought months ago. So, for the foreseeable future, I will be populating this thread more than normal.

I love Vanillaware. Their art style and graphics are the best I have ever seen. So, I have been gobbling them up for a while. I was always a little hesitant to pick this one up as I'm not the biggest RTS fan. However, after really liking Pikmin, I figured this would be worth a shot. After seeing it on a shelf at a local game store last summer, I decided now would be a good time to jump into it.

I added Pikmin 2 for the Nintendo GameCube this evening!

My first double post!

I won't be doing these more than once a week, maybe twice at the most. So, don't expect me to start dominating this thread.

Last summer, I was introducing a friend of mine's coworker to some game stores in the area that he had never been to. While there, I spied Pikmin 2 that I had been looking for quite a while. With everybody else buying games, I decided to jump in and pick up Pikmin 2. I absolutely adored the first game, so I hope the second one will be very much like it. I know they got rid of the time mechanic from the first one, but that actually sounds like an improvement for me.

Man... I've been having a ton of fun with a chipped PS1 + s video cables I bought off JoeAwesome last year. I know one of the main draws is to play burns, but it's got me into the PS1 bug. Mrs Jago & older kiddo love Crash Bandicoot. I'll have some family game oriented purchases coming soon. I just picked up a second console & other awesomeness:

I added The Bouncer for the Sony Playstation 2 this evening!

Once a year, we have the Missouri Game Con here in St. Louis. It is a great place for people and vendors to buy and sell their stuff. Last weekend was the 4th year, so it is slowly growing, but it is still rather small. For the next couple of posts, I will post some games that I got from last year's convention.

The main reason I bought The Bouncer was because I absolutely Final Fantasy X-2. It is a guilty pleasure game that I've played through many times. I learned that the people who made that game, including the music, also worked on the Bouncer. Considering the game is extremely short and I picked it up for $5, it seemed like it was worth it.
