You know next movie they'll pull what they did in the comics, though.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
My spoiler-free review:
Avengers Infinity War is Nihilistic. Yes, I mean that in the literal sense. I walked out of the theater with a sense of dread that nothing matters, and maybe nothing ever did.
It’s not even a bad movie, mind you. There’s nothing technically wrong with how this movie was made. The production values are top notch. The pacing is fast (despite the long runtime). The acting is pitch perfect.
No, my criticism isn’t directed towards anything the filmmakers did wrong; rather, it seems that the filmmakers achieved their ungodly goal. Kevin Fiege and the Russo Brothers have created a masterpiece of depression and hopelessness.
Infinity War feels like a two-and-a-half-Hour punch in the gut. I believe that in the future, parents will punish misbehaving children by forcing them to watch this film. Why? Because Avengers Infinity War could surely make an eight-year-old boy cry. I felt some small part of my own childhood withered away while watching this holocaust on screen. Abandon hope, all ye who enter the movie theater to view Avengers Infinity War.

It sounds like Marvel has successfully done what DC has been wanting to do the whole time, and done it with a better color palette and nobody screaming, "Martha!"
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Just saw Infinity War. This is my initial minor-spoilery thought/observation.
It was great though. Can't wait for what happens next.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
976-EVIL 2. I've seen the first one AGES ago and all I remember is that it was 100x better than this shit sandwich of a sequel.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?

Amazing. Incredible. Moving.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Saw it tonight. Seemed a lot more like they're making it as true to the comics as they can given the different state of the MCU to the comics at the time. If it was wrapped up in one movie, it would have felt rushed. So it's nice that they're giving it an Empire Strikes Back sort of cliffhanger.samsonlonghair wrote: Infinity War feels like a two-and-a-half-Hour punch in the gut. Hatchet 4
,,, er... uh, I mean
Victor Crowley

Released: 2017 (Feb 2018 Home)
IMDB: 5.7/10
Rotten Tomatoes: 44% critics, 50% audience
Streaming: $3.99 HD rental on Google Play
Let's wrap up the [current] Hatchet series with another night of mayhem in Honey Island Swap from the Bayou Butcher.
This one slipped under the radar for most and for good reason... it was filmed and even first released in secret:
Wow... you know those Hatchet fans were shocked. This one seems to be fairly polarizing within the horror community. I really enjoyed it. I found myself laughing out loud multiple times and pulling for the "face" characters to survive while wanting Victor to take out the "heels." The banter between the characters is great. Sure... it could've used some Danielle Harris (who carried Hatchet 2 & 3) but then again, all horror movies could.
For those of you who don't know, Hatchet is an old school slasher series. You feel like you are watching a modern day take on the genre 20 to 30 years ago. There is super gore, campiness (which was largely unintentional then, but purposeful now), shock factor over scares, and a never dying, giant villain in Victor Crowley (again portrayed by Kane Hodder).
While the tone is different in this one, it isn't bad by any means. They couldn't make the same B horror, romp through the swamp for the fourth time in my opinion. You have a group of plane crash survivors and an aspiring set of film makers trying to survive the night inside of a crashed plane in the swap. Again, the witty, almost Joss Whedon-ish, dialogue between character is refreshing and hilarious at times. I can recommend this one. If you felt the series was maybe getting a little stale by the end of Hatchet 3, stay tuned for this one.
Also... that reminds me... stay tuned through the credit scene for a total horror nerd geek out moment.
Have you guys checked this out? Did you even know it was out?

via wikiIn July 2017, it was announced that an official '10th Anniversary Event' screening of the original Hatchet film would be playing at the FrightFest Film Festival of 2017, featuring newly released footage. The same event, which took place on August 22, 2017 in Los Angeles, brought forth the announcement that it was actually the premiere of a secretly filmed Hatchet sequel titled Victor Crowley. Writer/director Adam Green said on the matter, "I couldn’t be happier to partner with Dark Sky Films and bring Victor Crowley back to horror fans around the world. Resurrecting the series for its tenth anniversary was our way of saying thank you to everyone in The Hatchet Army and beyond who have supported this series since its inception. This bloodbath is for all of you."
