Link's hair was pink in game in LttP.

I still think everyone is blowing it out of proportion. To me from what I saw in the trailer we got, it still looked like Link. Though I'm still really hoping they go back to the link we saw at wii u launch tech demo. I really liked the thought of that much detail on characters(wind waker and skyward sword style is nice but I'd rather have realistic like TP)

The Gamecube tech demo from Spaceworld 2000 advises you to put those hopes aside...
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Man I never saw that originally(mainly because my family for some odd reason skipped gamecube back then), but still I really liked the demo we had a couple of years ago... It looked amazing to me...but I guess what they showed will do as long as they don't go full wind waker on it...I prefer less cartoony stuff in my zelda games unless it's a portable title then I can stand it...

Calling that crap a "game" is stretching it I think.

Thread's dead now though, Aonuma confirmed the character in the E3 demo was in fact Link. Because why not do the same old thing over and over and over.

Where did he do that? All the reporting I saw cited him saying that no one had said that the character was Link.

You're actually upset that Link is the protagonist in a Zelda game? Do you get upset when you see beer in the liquor store too? Without the characters that the fans expect to see, the game becomes something other than a LoZ game. This is also not the time for Nintendo to start being cute with one of their mega IPs.

Oh god forbid a Legend Of Zelda game actually be about Zelda herself. Have you considered that Nintendo's steadfast refusal to evolve this core series in a meaningful way has something to do with that "not the time" aspect existing in the first place?
