I've come to terms with the fact that I can't have a boss. I'm really bad with so called teamwork and hierarchy, so I just freelance all the time.

I'm well paid for this country's standards, but I also work a lot. I get a scholarship for my Master's (so it actually feels more like a job rather than just education), I work as a regular translator for a guides website, I'm a media coordinator for a libertarian website, I do writing for a couple of other libertarian outlets, and I also do the occasional private English lesson for a few people.

I can't really complain. When I had regular jobs, I would get pissed and storm out of the office shouting, "Fuck you guys, I quit!"

Well fellas, put in my notice & it went well. I was planning on having 2-3 weeks off to relax but my current employer asked me to stay a bit to help pass off projects. I agreed.

Last day @ current job is 2/21, start the new gig 3/3. Still a nice 10 day break & no hit to the wallet as my current job pays out accrued vacation bank which will be nice... I rarely took off in 2 yrs. Jacked to start a new adventure while not burning any bridges & getting a bit of relax time... if you follow the RPG forum, I'll be hitting up Chrono Trigger & Mario RPG while off :) I've never beaten either although I watched several hours at my cousin's house around '96.

Edit: Also forgot to mention the week before I officially resigned my boss flew in & hinted to the fact I might be transferred from Houston to Missouri or Arkansas... got out just in time! :D

@jmustang I just looked into it man. The last SNES copy went for $74 I was watching on eBay. Lowest on Amazon was around $80. PSX port seems about the same. My launch Wii bit the dust so no VC. I haven't bought Mario RPG yet though... could reallocate the funds... ogre battle worth the $80?

... this is clearly lifestyle & job related bc I need to properly utilize my time off :D

Ps1 port you should be able to snag for 45-50. Snes carts were at 60ish, but they may have gone up.

Ok cool... Yeah just saw some CIB PSX ports for $60 without hawkeying eBay... ohhh how you tempt me. I'll have 10 days to study up on the complicated... I mean "involved" battle and leveling system :)
