Morning, Jag. I had to get up at 6:30 this morning and 6 yesterday morning. I know that's not super-early to some. It's darn sure early to me though. Yesterday morning was extra rough because the sun had barely risen when I was outside shoveling snow.

I had a fine Thanksgiving Mr. Saturn. I thought I would have to work but I busted my butt M-W so I could be off Thurs & drive the 2 hours to my parents'. It was worth the effort to see my family! How was yours man?

Well Mr. Samson, simple solution... move to TX :) Ive never shoveled snow. I was at a local cafe this morning at 6:45a drinking coffee and eating a nice, large breakfast. It does make the day seem long when you wake up while dark & leave work around 6p and it's dark out!

Hope you all have a good holiday weekend. I'm off tomorrow.... what to play???

Well I thought by going to bed at 1230 I could get a solid 5 1/2 hours of sleep, but oh no stupid nap meant I could not even fall asleep until 3. Yep, 3 hour day, giving two exams and taking one myself. Joy.

Morning boys! Fine day here in Texas. Woke up @ 5:30a to a pot of coffee.

Speaking of, ended up with a free Keureg machine last night! For anyone who doesn't know, they're one cup coffee makers. Takes about 30 seconds total to brew with this model.

It's one of the platinum units that keeps a tank of warm water. Got it for FREE. They run about $170. Long story but my brother-in-law ended up with two, gave me one. I'll be trying some new coffees & my wife can make mochas. Very cool! More caffeine! :D

Mornin' Crew,

My Girl has a Keurig like that. It's not just useful for coffee; anything that can be made by heating water can be made with a Keurig. I have made tea, iced tea, ramen, oatmeal, hot cocoa, et cetera.

When your cost-conscious brain gets hit by a morning jolt of caffeine, you'll realize that a k-cup costs less than starbucks, but significantly more than a whole pot of home brewed coffee. What's the solution for a cheapskate to drink his morning coffee?

Howdy Jago,

Just got my morning paperwork done for work. You know, I had a Keurig machine but I traded it to my girlfriend for her 3DS haha. She wanted coffee and I wanted games. The Keurig was nice but I tend to drink at least 3 cups of coffee in the morning from 5am-8am so I prefer my Bunn maker. My Bunn also has a water tank that holds enough water for 2 pots. I use Chock Full o' Nuts brand coffee!

Also, try out the Donut Shop coffee since you have the Keurig. It is the bomb!

@VbD, ou can make fun of my 100 percent humidity, 100 degree weather in August but I've never shoveled snow :)

@Samson, thanks! My bro in law showed me his tiny coffee filter but I had no idea what the product was called. Will buy one of those also to lower my costs of K cups.

@Saturn Guy, one of the more interesting video game trades I've heard of lol. Worth it.... playing FE Awkaeming right now. Have logged a few hundred hours on my 3DS. My most played new system/handheld since the 32/64 bit gen!
