I've had her since '08ish but for the last 3 years she has been in storage. I paid $250 and had to drive 6 hours round trip to get it but its way worth it in my eyes. She's in good shape but does have a couple scratches and dents. All from moving her from one place to another. This goes without saying, but she is very heavy.

I can't remember these but a friend of my older brother said he remembered these being in toy'r'us back in the day.

I used to try out Saturn games in Toys 'r' Us all the time, but I don't remember any terminals that looked like that. Very sexy, anyway. Too bad about those US model 1 controllers, though.

I actually like the model 1 controllers, yes the model 2 is better but they aren't bad at all imo. Also I think they look way cooler than the model 2s.

Yeah idk honestly. He was sure that's what was in Toy'r'us stores but he could be mistaken or just talking out of his @ss. Maybe when the system first came out, these were floating around? Seems like something they would want to show off with all the lights and full size cabinet.

I like both controllers so its not a big deal to me. I actually switch depending on which game I'm playing. Always go with the model 1 for fighters and the model 2 for just about everything else. I also agree that the model 1(IMO) looks better so that works out good for a display cabinet like this.

It has locks to keep people out and a reset button outside of the unit near the controller dock so it is for sure made for public use. My guess is either a store kiosk or maybe it was just used at game expos.

That is awesome!

I have been playing the Initial D racing game, not too bad actually. Didn't have much trouble until getting to Bunta, I think he is the last race. Got closer to beating him today, I think I will get him soon. Also have been enjoying Symphony of the Night, wanted to see what the game is like playing as Maria.
