Amiga was released in 1985 so that control scheme was still pretty standard.

But yeah, it's an annoying characteristic of all the Commodore computers and most retro computers in general (the Tandy Color eventually had a 2-button stick). Try playing Street Fighter on C64.

Yeah JMustang... Ogre Battle 64 is the only RPG on the 64 I can think of that I want to play.

True Bonez, nearly every system has some solid titles. Burn Cycle on the CDi has always had my attention. Maybe it's just me but it seems like there is way more hate for the Jaguar than these other obscure systems. Prob BC of the math/bit marketing campaign, Cybermorh's "Where Did You Learn to Fly", & the large (yet comfortable) controller. Atari's fault there lol :) Cybermorph was really programmed for the unreleased, less powerful Panther & intended to be a tech demo for that system... hurt the perception, even to today.

I am going to bring up the original fatty square Xbox. Thing was massive, but damn it had some great games on it IMO. I am not a fan of MS consoles on any level, with the exception of the original Xbox and only in that some of the games were just that great.

I just wanted to piont this out. I mean n64 is generally hated on for not being a disc system but for me it had mario 64, dk64, namco museum, zelda OoT, and toy story 2. The controller never bothered me because I always used it where my left thumb was always on the analog stick(except when going into the menus) and I never had any issues with it even though I used it for hours on end when I was little(I was determined to beat OoT and made it happen once i got a smartphone and got in trouble  ).

And whoever said wii I have to agree, it's a great system full of unknown of and obscure titles since all the decent non-kiddy stuff is really unknown and very little known decent titles.

(now as soon as I finish ff1 I'm going to go and try to finish dk64 because that's going to bug me until I finally attempt to do it....I just keep forgetting about it once i get busy or tired)

For me it's been the Gamecube. I don't like the looks and am not a fan of the controller. It has my least favorite 3D Mario and Zelda, though I'm a big fan of Twilight Princess which was on the Wii too. I'm sure there's maybe a few exclusives I should still check out, but otherwise the PS2 has everything plus 1,000 more games.

Giving us Metroid Prime is about the only thing I like the GC for.

Luckily I have access to the few exclusives I like on the Wii. ie the Prime trilogy, Resident Evil Remake and Zero, and Twilight Princess. So there's just no reason for me to have a GC out.

Outside of Halo and Ninja Gaiden, I don't give a crap about the Xbox either.

The PS2 just brutally destroys those two in my book.

Xbox brought WRPGs and other previously PC-only type games to a console, which was a big draw for me. Also: Panzer Dragoon Orta, Phantom Dust, Shenmue II, Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes, Tecmo Classic Arcade... It's a good system.

As for the GameCube - I love it but have only a small library of games. They're tough to find in the wild. Some great JRPGs on that system.
