My Game Room (New House Done!) Pics 9/8/14

looks like a good amount of space, and i like your ideas...could be awesome! cannot wait to be at this point & setting up a classic game room, we also can't do basements here...ive already started framing old posters & such, any idea if you wanna put stuff on the walls?

My ultimatel goal is turn it into a movie & game room. I'll have a 42" Sony Bravia LCD for high def movies & my 27" truflat CRT for retro goodness. This coupled with a nice L shaped sectional couch would make it a cool lounge/movie/gaming area.

BC of this I was considering a few posters, retro gaming & also movie related. I have a few minty Sega posters I'd like to get at least one framed. That plus a Dragon Quest & Zelda poster... put up a Goonies & Blade Runner movie poster. I think it'd be a nice mix. My wife will be reading next me often (what she spends most of time doing lol) so I'll prob surprise her with a book release poster from one of her favorite novels.

Posters will be a year or so into the project. New shelves first maybe. A lot of decorating to do elsewhere. Also, I'm going be spending time & dinero to tile & brick a patio. Luckily my pops is a stone mason & is helping there

Edit: on second thought I need a Gremlins poster. "Bright Lightttt!" in a Mogwai voice is a morning occurrence at my house HAHA!

These two are nice. I dig the thumbnails with screenshots. Black one with pic of console would look slick in a black frame.

Update! Slab poured. Pic added. One step closer & project is about a month ahead of schedule (as of today lol) .

So did you bury a copy of SMB in the foundation so you can then hide a note about it in a wall as the house goes up?

That's a cool idea! I may have to do something similar when we gut our house next year.

LOL nah. But I am building a brick/stone patio after we move in. When my dad did his, I put a time capsule between the bricks (was about a 6 inch hollow section). If we do the same style, I might have to do that. Perhaps I'll bury another copy of ET...
