Any disadvantage to using 2nd seal to "reclass" to the same master class. For example, I have Chrome maxed out @ level 20 but like his attributes... I then use the 2nd seal to drop him to level 1 in his current class (what is it... Great Lord IIRC, not around my 3DS).

This allows me to keep using him as I have been but also allows him to further level up vs being stuck. Seems boring but effective. Am I "hurting" his advancement @ all?

Nope; the biggest thing is that you are missing out on skills from his other classes. But as you get into the later game you'll find you start swapping characters in and out of classes a bunch thanks to your stats already being pretty high across the board just so you can get the skills.

Thanks! I'm chapter 22 of 26 lol. I've been steadily grinding with Risen battles & paralouges so my characters all seem fairly strong. Hoping my strategy will pull me through w/o issues

I found that by that point in the game I could basically reclass my team to whatever I wanted and they'd breeze the battle.

I made Nowi a manakete and Olivia a dancer again right before the final battle. They got a not insignificant stat drop, but they still kicked ass. Plus, because they count as unpromoted units, they both got over 10 level ups each in that final showdown XD
