any games like gears of war for ps2

WinBack was the first console 3rd person cover game I can think of. It was originally on the N64 but then ported to the ps2.

Gungrave is about the closest one that I can think of.

Check out "The Thing." It's supposed to be a pretty good third-person shooter, too

I really missed out on a lot of the PS2 library. I ordered 8 titles today with some recently acquired funds... 7 of the 8 in most peoples' must play list... guess which the 8th was lol

Psy Op's is pretty good also. But I'd probably recommend the oXbox version over the PS2
