I will admit that I have no idea if sopcast will work on your ps3. Heck I found out about it last night aswell and plan on installing it on my phone soon to see if we can get horse races on it.

And that is a super cheap scan converter - not to long ago the same product was $100. If you need a cables, hit up monoprice.

Download TuneIn app on your smart phone. You can type in the city you want (find a city your game isn't blocked) and sports. Boom, you'll find your game. Used it often when I lived out of state & wanted to listen to my teams.

I have TuneIn and the station that has the Cavs isn't available.

Well, there's your problem... no one airs the Cavs games ;)

I must've gotten lucky. Always been able to find what I'm hunting on game day with that app.

Their flagship station is on the iheart radio app, and that app blocks the game from being streamedper NBA rules.

Fun fact of the Day:
The iHeartRadio app is owned lock stock and barrel by Clear Channel (the largest radio conglomerate in the US).
The TuneIn app is not owned by clear channel. They don't have the same level of corporate interference.

I work at a radio station. Maybe I can help a little.

AM radio reception can be a tricky matter but totally do-able. Here's a few things to consider:
  • My station engineer calls AM reception "directionally biased" by which he means that turning the antenna one direction or another has a great impact on the reception.
  • The antenna should be outside; indoor antennas don't typically work well for AM.
  • Even if your antenna is outside, you can still run a wire indoors to your receiver.
  • Old-fashioned analog receivers pick up AM signals better than modern digital receivers.
  • Google search "Windmill AM Antenna"

So I bought this PC to TV Converter box, hooked it up to the second dvi port on my video card. Used a dvi to vga converter and ran a 50ft rca cables. I turned on the both clone and extended desktop and the only thing to show on my screen was colored bars.
Any idea what went wrong? Could it be the fact that my video card only has dvi out?

That's possible. It says is only supports up to 1027x768 as well, so if you were higher than that maybe bars is the default no signal image.

I set it up for dual monitors and tried both 1027x768 and 800x600 neither worked.
I wonder if the dual monitor thing is the problem?

Generally it shouldn't be. However, at least on XP, my video card is cranky if I tell it I just hooked up my TV and it will not actually agree to send a picture to that output unless I reboot. W7 and such pretty much demand you reboot if you change settings. So... have you rebooted?
