I just don't see how anyone could feel anything positive for the main characters by the end of the game. Their actions are all shameful and pathetic. Trip is selfish and borderline psychotic, Monkey has no pride or ambition and Pigsy shows a murderous streak. And the epilogue.....
Hmm, I only had an audio synching issue once, other than that smooth sailing. I played on the PS3 which I think had the least issues in that regard.

As far as the story, it shouldn't surprise you that some people liked it and you didn't. Does every movie you've seen have characters where you feel positive about their every action? The uncertainity about what they did at the end and how "grey" the actions of the main characters were, was what made the story resonate with me.
Well grey is a matter of perspective. There was no grey in the game at all in my opinion. Just to use Trip as an example. Trip's actions were always motivated by pure self interest, with no regard for the human life she constantly put at risk. First it was, "I need him to keep me alive", then it was, "I need him to help me get my revenge". Once he has served both of these purposes, she conveniently realizes that it is wrong for her to enslave someone and offers to let him go free. She's a bitch.

Also, the very idea of putting a slave collar on someone and then rigging it to kill him should he disobey her, get too far away from her or if she dies is the sort of thing that a PSYCOPATH does, not a normal human being with any real sense of right and wrong. If there were any kind of legal system in Enslaved's world, no jury on earth would not convict her for her actions. And then there is the epilogue, where she truly LOOKS like a psycho when she decides to take matters into her own hands

I personally loved Enslaved, great game. I played on Xbox with it installed to the HD and didn't have any issues at all. I thought the story was very entertaining and really liked the characters. I'm with Stark, the only reason I'm interested in the new DMC is because of NT's involvement. That has me very interested however as I think they'll give it their cinematic touch which I really enjoy.

All that said, Strider??? Heck yeah!!

Funny thing about Strider, I didn't like the original much. However, I loved using him in Marvel vs Capcom and I really had fun with Strider 2 on the Playstation. I wouldn't mind seeing a new Strider game either. However, with Shinobi and Ninja Gaiden having come out in the last decade or so, I wonder how Strider would stand out, unless they keep it 2D

I didn't, either. I think that the Arcade version packed in with

Strider's a good character in MvC2. I use him when I get bored of my regular team.

I haven't played much of Strider 2, but I've enjoyed what I've played of it.

It would be neat if they took the original Strider for Genesis and revamped it for PSN/XBL in HD. Keep the 2D platforming gameplay and the original levels, but rework the mechanics and make everything smoother. I love Strider for Genesis, but I'll be the first to admit the gameplay feels a bit dated.

Every time a DmC topic gets bumped somewhere, I die a little inside. Soon, NT will have accomplished what they set out to do originally, and DMC fans everywhere will all have black and withered souls. Think DRM is bad? On disc DLC? Re-releases? These guys are straight up murderers, THEY'RE KILLING ME.
