Okay, since my phone is crap for pictures this is the best I could make one look in the light of my kitchen:

Image
you can see the blurry yellow inscription, it says 20 January 2007 above.

Here's a list of a page or so of cards I have:
Time Spiral- Scion of the Ur-Dragon / Liege of the Pit / Reiterate / Wheel of Fate / Wurmcalling / Angel's Grace / Word of Seizing / Stonebrow, Krosan Hero / Candles of Leng / Chronosavant / Drainu, Lich Lord / Weathered Bodyguards / Mangara of Corondor / Kher Keep / Kaervek the Merciless / Living End / Magus of the Jar / Stronghold Overseer

That's just one of the expansions, I have more but will post later

I do indeed. I'm Ivo there as well.

Back to the value topic...
Vejita: the cards you mention are from Ravnica and Time Spiral block. The one with the inscription was given either at the pre-release or the release events of the respective set.
Unfortunately they are no longer legal in the most played format (Standard) and not many cards are competitive in the other formats such as extended.
I am not at all informed about the "paper" market (I play online only). Online, practically only cards that are competitive in a tournament setting are valuable. However, you seem to have some legends, angels and dragons, which I have a vague impression hold some value in "paper" because some subset of players finds them cool.

As an example, the angel in the picture (Razia) has a sell price of 1.99 in Starcitygames (a "paper" store), whereas the online version is sold for 0.35 at MTGOTraders (an "online" store). It will be hard / impossible for you to get 1.99 for your angel though, that is the price that the big store sells them at. If you sell to a big store for cash you will certainly get a good bit less (they tend to give you better deals if you get store credit or cards in return). I predict that if you have number of those rares you can get some bucks for them, the uncommons and commons will be effectively worthless ("sold by weight", apparently?). If you don't have a load of them it will probably not be worth your trouble and time.

The general guideline on whether a card is worth anything is the little symbol in the middle on the right hand side. The symbol shape shows you what set the card is from (IE 9th edition etc) and the colour shows you whether it's common (black) uncommon (silver) rare (gold). The other indicator is whether the card is foil or not (it has a sort of pearlescent shimmer to the card) If you have a foil card with a Gold symbol that card is gonna be worth a bit more than a standard gold.

It's only worth checking the price on the gold/foils since the other cards aren't really worth anything.

Right so Im even more out of the game than vegita - I stopped when Ice Age came out. But my boss gave me a box of his old Beta, Antiquities, 3rd Edition, Ice Age, and Arabian to sell for 50/50. He, well his brother, already sold off the super rares - moxes and loti, but I am left with what I believe are some rare cards. Once I have a list Ill post it here if yall want in on them - at a fair price ofcourse. I do know that the signed by the artist Shiven Dragon in fair condition will have to be sold locally.

Yeah, I looked around online and found that all those cards I mentioned happen to be "rare," but only worth from $0.99 to $4.99 a piece... I do have duplicates, but not "bulk." There are a lot more cards though and I'll have to check all of them anyway. If there were a shop here I could get store credit, which I wouldn't mind, but it looks like I'll have to travel a bit.

Also, both of those pictures are the foil cards- they looked better on camera
