Sharing a Washer/Dryer sucks had so many issues with morons the year I lived in dorms. Got to the point that I just saved it for the weekends I went home. Shit like people waiting for you to leave then throwing your close out and theirs in so they didn't have to spend a whole whopping $1.25, people stealing laundry baskets and/or clothes, and people leaving their shit for hours on end then going ballistic if you touched it :P.

I would say if they keep giving you problems report it to whoever you are renting from and make sure they know how many people are living in the apartment and that they have pets if there are restrictions.

I am more mad about wasting $1.50 on the machine AND my time.

Having a baby has made me a crazy person when my time is wasted. That was 1 hour where I could have been sleeping if I didn't know I had laundry waiting!
Ok, fine. My suggestion then is to shit on their clothes...just like their parrot.

Man, you guys are really unlucky. The last time I shared a washer and dryer with a large bunch of folks, I never had these issues. Sure, sometimes folks would leave their stuff in longer than they should, but we never had any issues like this. Never had any thefts or quickly replacing clothes or anything. Occasionally we did have a bunch of folks doing laundry at the same time and using all of the machines, and I did eventually get tired of paying for it, so I went out and bought my own machines. But I guess I was pretty lucky in that the etiquette among residents was followed.

...then again, nobody who lived there worked at Taco Bell.

That's one thing that's aired, they also show a lot of macho 80s flicks, grindhouse fare, and Robert Rodriguez projects. The Dusk 'Till Dawn TV show is on it, for instance.

They just shove channels wherever there's receiver space. When FXX came on, it took over some Fox Sports channel, so FXX is in the middle of a bunch of sports stuff in the lineup.

To note,
Frontier is like the only service that refuses to carry Cartoon Network in HD. So it's not like it's top notch TV service. It's just a matter of, which Satan do you want to do deal with? For my household's money, I'm not touching Comcast. Dish Network is virtually garbage (and continually has rate wars with local station affiliates) and DirecTV is alright, but really too expensive. Also, we'd be using Frontier for internet regardless of anything else, due to the awesome FiOS infrastructure Verizon setup and sold off. Thankfully, on that front, they're excellent. TV is something Frontier doesn't want to continue doing, and that's why the service isn't great, but they're forced to soldier on thanks to service laws in my area.
Agreed, Comcast TV is way overpriced. I have them for data & they threw in free HBO & local channels. Great speeds (105 mbps) at a great price.

We'll disagree on Dish. When did you have them? Seems they really stepped up their game recently.

I have amazing picture, 120+ channels, 3TB HDD DVR, built in Sling Box for remote viewing/mirroring, ability to download recorded programs to external devices and watch off line, ability to add external HDDs to DVR if I use all 3TB onboard... all for ~35% less than Direct TV. My install was great & customer service has been awesome.

Best TV service I've ever had (my fourth provider over the years).

Yeah, I haven't shared laundry since I was in college, but when I was in the dorms it was a very polite environment. And the machines were wired up to an internal website that gave you the status, so you could see when machines were done or free. Then when I moved into a house with some buddies and we shared we had the mutual respect that comes from knowing one another.

Righ now, I share a washer and dryer with my wife and children. My wife isn't bad, btu my children just throw all of their clothes in the hamper and expect me to wash them! Worse, when their clothes come out, they can't even fold them properly!! And, it take me forever to fold a basket full of little dressesm t-shirts, and shorts!!! It is the worst!!!!

Why would you fold clothes? Shirts and pants go on hangers, underwear and socks just get shoved in a drawer.
