What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Kind of like how you get booted to the main menu after every match in the Master Chief Collection. That was totally for the purpose of "Consistency" with past experiences. Not because they were to lazy or wanted to ensure that people moved onto Halo 5 MP :P.

It's not like Halo CE(PC), Halo 2(PC), Halo 3, Halo Anniversary, Halo ODST, Halo Reach, and Halo 4 had any type of lobby system which kept players together post game. Everyone just loves having to restart matchmaking after each 10 minute game and the voting system ensures you are playing the same 5-6 maps almost every time :P.

 No, don't assume I want to talk to the homesteader person. Oh gosh, now we're talking. Yes, I'm an ag major. Animal Science. No, I don't want to be a vet. I'm going into production. No, not factory farms. Well, I guess you could make an argument that feed lots are factory farms. No, they are not vertically integrated, that would be incorrect. Chicken operations and hog operations often are, yes. I have no thoughts on that portion of the industry, as I do not work with hogs or chickens. No, I don't know anything about hydroponics, I focus on livestock, specifically cattle, sheep, and goats. Yes, I agree with the legalization of marijuana. Bla bla bla...

 Well, I've finally decided to completely abandon going to Winston-Salem to see "Alleluia: The Devil's Carnival". Between the costs of getting there and staying somewhere, along with the cost of meals and it being a total 5 hour drive to the Greyhound station for whoever takes me to Elizabeth City, among other things, it just stopped being fun and became nothing but a chore. And if I did get there, I'd probably be more focused on all the money spent on getting to see it.

That's money you could be spending to move to New York.

Yeah, cuz the better part of $300 is just enough for an NYC move.

But seriously, I'm thinking about moving out of this town towards the end of the season. The restaurant closes sometime after Thanksgiving and I hope to be able to move out to one of the larger cities, hopefully one where I can get and work two jobs and get the money to move to NYC by early next year.

It would go a long way... Actually it would get you there for sure with some money left over.

This had me wondering...

I moved 12 hours the day after I graduated college for my first "real job." I rented a uhual & drove my truck 760 miles.

Boxes: $0 (saved recycled boxes from family & friends)
Gas: $120 (that's a truck towing)
Food: $25
Uhual Trailer: $125 (two days)
Total: $270

Not a specific emotion, so no emoji.

I really question some of the guys my buddy hangs out with. 90% of them are fine, but there's that 10%. One of the guys he is staying with while in town is part of that 10%. The other guy I had met before, and he was chill. This new guy? Giant asshole. Seriously. When the girls were in the house, it was fine, he kept it cool. As soon as the girls left, he shifted gears to dick mode. Looking at the guy, I wasn't surprised, but for him to be a gaming douche on top of it was too much. I'm sorry I don't play 700 hours of Smash all the time, screw off. And when I still lose the match, you really don't need to whine and cuss at me because of one shot you though was bullshit, which happened not to be.

On the other hand, I can't help but be jealous of this guy at the same time. He alone got 4 girls to come watch TV and bullshit around with our sorry asses out of an expected 7. He also apparently parties and pulls girls like a wild man, which obviously makes my sorry ass jealous as hell. I guess good looks and that kind of attitude help such things, but I can't for the life of me figure out how the hell I could ever do such things. My college experience has been... non-existent so far, and this guy is living the dream. I don't know what I would have to do to get my life to be running so nice, but I'd sure as hell lke to know. At a college full of women, many of whom are single, I haven't even gotten a kiss while this dude gets laid. Fuck me.
