help me pick the next game

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Yeah if you haven't completed all the genesis sonic games I'd say play those first. Sonic Adventure isn't bad though, SA2 is good too. . . just stay away from Sonic Shuffle!!!

Sonic Adventure has not aged well at all. I loved it when it first came out, and completed EVERYTHING. My VMU fried, so I went to play through it again...I cant enjoy it.
There are really only a handful of levels that are enjoyable, and the Special boss fight, as Super Sonic (if you can bring yourself to complete the game with every character)

Grandia has a GREAT battle system, but the game falls apart, once you get to a certain level the game loses its challenge. The boss battles are always great though.

Vice City is definitely the High Point in the GTA series. San Andreas was more of a step to the side, then forward.

I think most the areas where you play as Sonic have aged pretty well, speed highway and red mountain especially. Frankly the other characters' levels weren't that great when it came out in 1999.

Why is everyone telling me to play the originals?
I don't have a genesis, but maybe I can download them on the wiiware

I never liked sonic games because I thought I should play it like mario, you know walk around , jumping, I never thought they meant for the level to be rushed through. But again, how can you find all the secret stuff and collect all the rings that way?

I am still having hard time deciding , but I am between Shenmue and grandia.
Can any one give me an estimate of how long each game takes to complete

You can't. . . I thought the good thing about Sonic games was the fact that you could wander around finding everything if you wanted or you could just speed through, the level design is amazing in the old ones because it gives you that choice.

If you're real good, you can do both.
