Yeah, a new or even revamped Mario Paint would be perfect for the gamepad.
After seeing the Nintendo Direct on Mario Maker, I can tell that countless hours will be spent on that.

I'm pretty excited for Mario Maker (even if I'm pretty sure I'll be awful at making courses
), but I'm probably going to wait a bit before getting a copy... Just way too many games I'm excited for that are coming out in the next few months.

Games like Mario Maker are like crack for me. SimCity and Mario Paint have eaten countless hours of my life. Mario Maker will be a day 1 purchases for me.

You think that people will make those "impossible stages" with the game?

No, because in order to post the level online it requires you to have beaten it yourself.casterofdreams wrote:You think that people will make those "impossible stages" with the game?

I will make a giant pit stage where you have to hop on bunches of bullet bills to reach the goal.

I'm hoping someone creates one of those musical levels where they set up all the enemies and gimmicks so that Mario just blasts through and the impact noises play a song.

I didn't know that... sounds like a really good idea. I remember n having a lot of user-stages that were absolutely infuriating. Being forced to beat it yourself will probably bring down the average difficulty quite a bit.BogusMeatFactory wrote:No, because in order to post the level online it requires you to have beaten it yourself.casterofdreams wrote:You think that people will make those "impossible stages" with the game?

Plus, the difficulty of user made courses is automatically determined by a played to finished ratio. Which means if people download the course and can't finish it, it'll be classified as a more difficult stage.
