Re: Summer Games Challenge 2015
Wild Arms (PSN)
Started playing last night... The battle system took a bit of getting use to (although still not 100% sure if I understand the force thing), but so far it's pretty good! Lot of random battles but I haven't had to grind yet so it's not so bad (at least so far). Right now I think I need to destroy 3 statue things? It's soon after you leave the castle and get through the Mountain Pass anyway.
The one thing I'm still a little salty on though is when you're at the festival, you're suppose to talk to the research lady to get 500 money (can't remember what the currency was). However, a couple said they lost their son so I thought that was a side quest and went to get him. But nope! Once you talk to him, he looses his balloon and it summons demons or something. And I never got my 500 money. Lame.
(yeah it's a silly thing, but I really wanted my 500 money gosh darnit)

6. 7th Guest
7. Mortal Kombat 2
8. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
9. Super Mario Bros. 2: The Lost Levels

Made it through with Scorpion, saw ending and credits, even fought a secret character in the final run. I'm done. That is all the time I ever want to spend in MK2 ever again.
Indy, it looks like you're up.

Wild Arms (PSN)
I might be condensing stuff a little bit, since I played a bunch yesterday and today but had no internet until now :/
Anyways, I got past the statue bits alright (although I did have to do a LOT of annoying back tracking ugh), and I did that stupid Pleasing Garden area... really didn't like it since I really didn't understand what to do, and the villagers hints didn't help at all. Had to use a guide for help in the end. But after that, I went on a random ghost ship and got a ship to ride around in... but now I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing. I did find a village with an Elw girl and did her little quest thing but I don't think that was what I needed to do. Didn't seem to do anything.
I then also found this Tripillar thing, in which I got totally confused, did a whole lot of wandering around and one of my characters died. So ughhh... I really hate being super stumped like this, but I also hate needing to use a guide so often. Very irritating ._.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Finally got back to this. I have sent myself down the Wits path and have just successfully escaped a Nazi submarine. I keep mentally comparing this to Monkey Island, but so far the puzzles in Fate of Atlantis have all made considerably more sense. The biggest issue I have is knowing when to Use an object or Push/Pull it. This has caused a couple of roadblocks at various points, such as a torpedo lever on the submarine or in a painting at a certain dig site. Also I have yet to get into a fist fight in the game, which has me worried; I hear the combat controls are not the best, and I fear that I will suddenly need them at the end of the game.

Don't worry about the fist fights. One of the virtues of this game is that there are numerous solutions to problems that you face. If you are playing it smart, you should not have to do much fighting, if any at all. Usually puzzles are set up in a way that if you honestly can't figure it out by any means, you can use your fists to punch through it.
The very beginning scene trying to get into the theater is a great example of this and you will see it happening all throughout the game.

@coolunblockedgames: you can read it from the first post of this thread.
I'm planning to challenge myself with Star War: Battlefront. Me and my friend now are trying to overcome 40 battles to destroy the Empire while protecting the Walkers. It's really tough!

I think there are no forced fist fights down the Wits path. You can get into trouble if you run into a nazi patrol in Atlantis, but since you can see them, avoiding them is easy.

Wild Arms (PSN)
After the horribly long and boring Tripillar (which involved walking, pushing buttons, and way too many random encounters) I had to look up what I what I was supposed to do again ><; Well technically I knew I was supposed to go to some volcano place, but I had no clue where it was and the map is VERY unhelpful.
However, I think I may have messed something up... You're supposed to do the Elw girl thing so that this lady joins you (which I did) and then go to the volcano place and she opens the door. But when I go the volcano place, nothing happens. I've tried checking the door multiple times, trying to blow it up myself, going back to Elw girl place to make sure I actually did the side quest, but nothing happens. Plus every guide I've checked just says to check the door and the lady will open it... nothing mentions anything about not being able to. I'm thinking that maybe I glitched something out since I did the sidequest but went to the Tripillar instead? Honestly I have no clue.
But now I'm super stuck, and I'm afraid that I might not be able to progress any further

Made more of a attempt on Chrono now that my extension cord came in and I can finally sit comfortably in my bed and play games on my r5. Honestly though only made it through getting robo and a bit through the factory(including the whole claw business picking you up) before the itch to watch a few episodes of Batman TAS became too strong...
