Deus Ex is getting another game in the series, appears to be a sequel to HR (same protagonist). I'm pretty stoked. HR was one of the most atmospheric and interesting games last gen.

Edit: just realized it doesn't say anywhere that this will be coming out in 2015. Oops.

Well, maybe I can hope.

Invisible War is better than Deus Ex, there I said it.

Shh, quiet! I hear such words are likely to rouse the dreaded Popo. I once saw a wild Popo tear off a man's leg in a fit of DDR-fueled dancing rage. The poor bastard never saw what hit him. He just mumbled something like, "Descent sucks," and the Popo was on him and tearing him to shreds. Many a young man and woman still have nightmares about that fateful blood-soaked day at the mall, and I hear parents use it as a way to scare their children at night. I think Stephen Gammell even drew a Popo once for some short story collection that Alvin Schwartz wrote.

Plus he knows where I live and where I work. The only consolation is that my work requires a badge. Guess I'm just staying here!

As I see and read more and more about Arkham Knight it really seems like they've set out to make the definitive Batman game. With all the playable characters announced, doing double teams in combat with other members of the Bat family, the Batmobile, improvements to an already stellar combat system, etc. It's rare in life to get everything you want, but this looks like my dream come true Batman game

The double-teaming stuff does look totally sweet.

Yeah, it's a shame Warner Bros had to somewhat tarnish the game before it even launches with that ridiculous $40 season pass. I'd love to play as Batgirl but not at that price point.

Anyway, later tonight The Old Blood releases. Moar Wolfenstien goodness, can't wait.

Yeah, I'm pretty sick of season passes...and pre order bonuses...and day one DLC...and pretty much everything else that is a sign of the times. Sigh. Oh well, I'm still pumped about this though, the art they put out for Batgirl looks amazing:

And the info they've put out about other playable characters as well as the different villains we may see is exciting:

* Gotham City Stories focuses on Batman’s allies such as Catwoman and Nightwing in a prequel story

* The Season of Infamy includes new villains with story arcs, missions, and gameplay features.

And this video blew me away:

And you've probably all seen this already:

And HARLEY'S PLAYABLE TOO!!!
