It's nothing I can't put up with/learn to like. The game looks very mysterious and whimsical at the same time because of that stop motion style and the world design. Reminds me of the Samorost games.BogusMeatFactory wrote:Blasphemy!! But that's ok. You are still cool. You may face a problem because that style of music is prevalent throughout the entire gameMrEco wrote:That looks cool. I'm really not feeling the music though.BogusMeatFactory wrote:Soooooooooon

If you want to get a good feel for how this will play, try out a great adventure game, The Neverhood. It is from the same people, in a similar style and with the same musician. It is a great great game. They also worked on a great sequel to The Neverhood, which was a platformer on the Playstation called Skull Monkeys, as well as an arena fighting game called BoomBots. Check them out. They are all excellent!

I'm sort of on the fence about Ori. I think it looks great... but I'm not sure if I want to spend $20 or wait for a sale.
EDIT: Fuck it, I bought it.

I don't think I would call Boombots excellent. As an arena fighter it's merely okay, but it is very funny and I love the claymation style.BogusMeatFactory wrote:If you want to get a good feel for how this will play, try out a great adventure game, The Neverhood. Lego Jurassic World looks all kinds of awesome. It's actually based on all 4 JP films.

Ok, so consider me in the camp of "yeah, Ori is totally worth playing." What a gorgeous game. And not just visually. The score is magnificent and the whole thing is just beautiful - even the 'story' as far as I've seen in the first hour. This feels Metroidvania without the overuse of backtracking. Really impressed so far.

Please say more negative things, I need to not spend $20 on this.noiseredux wrote:Ok, so consider me in the camp of "yeah, Ori is totally worth playing." What a gorgeous game. And not just visually. I am looking forward to Final Fantasy Type-O personally. I think the gameplay looks better than FFXV

This is what I'm looking forward to: (

Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 is a thing. In fact, it’s the sequel to the popular Car Mechanic Simulator 2014, which sold roughly 4 million copies. According to the developers, Ret Dot Studios, the game has successfully been crowd-funded again this year, by raking in just under $23,000, and this new release should launch on 14 April.

I just wanted to continue the hype train for No Man's Sky by showing off this great behind-the-scenes interview that shows the game in action, as well as a lot of the dev tools used to create the worlds and creatures dynamically. Absolutely fascinating!
Check it out.
