hmmm, that's pretty classy looking. Do you think it can fit a tablet though?
I'm guessing you wouldn't recommend the iPega? I'll probably end up doing the Nyko clip with an Xbone controller instead.
The major advantage of the Ipega is the ability to switch from portrait to landscape. If I could find an Xbox One controller 'clip' that did the same thing it would be an instant purchase.

But the Ipega is unfortunately just too hit or miss for me so far.

Someone claims they use it on a Nexus 7 with room to spare in the Q&A section on Amazon. Additionally, a reviewer mentions that they fit an iPad mini on there as well.

It says it can accommodate a device up to 3.5" wide. I'll probably give it a shot at the price when I pick up a Win 8 tablet sometime this week. I'll report back here and let you know how it works.

Would a PS4 controller keep sync better with the tablet maybe? I can try it with my Surface and let you know if you want.

From my experience when I had the Lenovo Miix 2 8, the PS4 controller worked wonderfully wireless via bluetooth.

that's probably true, though I much much prefer the 360/Xbox One controller to Dual Shocks. Just personal preference. Plus, I already own a One controller, so I can't see myself buying a PS4 controller. I think I might give the clip a try. The parts I need come out to less than $20 on New Egg.

Not sure if you've felt a PS4 controller, but it is far superior to the DualShocks that came before it. I'm a big proponent of Xbox controllers though, so I can see sticking to those if that's your penchant. Plus, cheaper than a new PS4 controller that you don't know if you'll like (although I think you would).

I haven't yet, no. But I will say that I much prefer the layout of the analog sticks on 360/One controllers. Plus, as OCD as it might sound - I do really like that most PC game on-screen prompts match-up with buttons/colors of 360/One controllers. So there's that. But in the past few years I've just really gotten comfortable with those in general, so yeah not much urge to spend money on something else when I've already got something I like a lot.

Also, Microsoft announced that they're going to be releasing an adapter to allow the Xbone wireless controller to hook up to Windows.

even better. Though I hope it's a nub instead of a super long wired adapter like the 360 one.

It's annoying that it's taken this long to release this.
