So I just discovered my first secret level in Quake I, Ziggurat Vertigo. I was going for an all kills/all secrets run, but unfortunately there was one sneaky enemy remaining in Grisly Grotto that I never could find. Do your level completion stats effect the ending at all, or do they have an impact on the game in any other way? Are they strictly for bragging rights?

I know right!? The late 90's vibe is so thick in this game, you could cut it with a Smashing Pumpkins CD. I feel like I should be listening to some Korn and Limp Bizkit when I play this game, and I never feel that way.
