After seeing some more details on Final Fantasy XV I am (very cautiously) optimistic. Seems like Sqeenix might be borrowing a bit of that Monster Hunter/Dragon's Dogma type openworld structure and the combat is a lot deeper than it seemed at first glance. I'm sure the story will be absolute twaddle and the main characters look like One Direction on their way to a Cure gig, but that hasn't stopped me enjoying a Final Fantasy before.

I'm actually quite hyped for the lineup over the coming months on the PS Vita, weirdly, cos apparently it has no games and is as dead as disco.

However, for me at the moment, the Vita has FAR more games now and soon to be released that i'd like to play than the 3DS does (for which i'd only really get MH4 and Majora's Mask 3D - both great games, but for me not worth re-buying the system). Sure, many are ports etc, but if you don't own another system that can play them, like me, then i think it's ok to be pretty stoked!

Bastion (never played it on PC as my laptop is underpowered)
Hyper Light Drifter
Titan Souls
Soldner X2
Axiom Verge
Gravity Rush 2
Resident Evil Revelations 2
Salt and Sanctuary
Shantae: Half Genie Hero

And last, but not least: a top-down space shooter, with 80's anime styling, infused with rogue-like elements? Sign me up twice!

Also, La-Mulana Ex and OlliOlli 2 have just come out. This, for me, is a good gaming year on my only handheld device, which is actually turning out to be my primary gaming device full-stop!

Lots of very favorable reviews are starting to trickle in for Ori and the Blind Forest. It comes out tomorrow on Xbox One and PC. An Xbox 360 port is coming at a later date.

I am 99% sure I will be downloading this tomorrow. :D

looks so pretty. I'm gonna keep an eye on that too.

Also I keep forgetting to mention, but I'm pretty excited about Star Wars Battlefront, even if that's probably not gonna hit until the end of the year.

The hype is real. It is really good. I've been playing it all evening. I'll type up a more detailed review when I finish it in the Game Beaten thread.

That looks cool. I'm really not feeling the music though.
I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

Blasphemy!! But that's ok. You are still cool. You may face a problem because that style of music is prevalent throughout the entire game
