Bah! Some games were removed off the list within the last couple of months! Wii Play (not Motion), for example is no longer on the list.

Well most games are still there though and there's plenty of codes to go around.
I got Shin Megami Tensei IV during the week, sadly it was missing the code sheet. I would have liked to have registered that.

D'you think they're gonna announce the gold/platinum rewards before or after the program is terminated? It says they'll be available immediately in april, but not when we'll know what they are. Debating buying a whole bunch of games now just to register em so I can get platinum status.
Sega Genesis (Model 2), Sega CD, Sega 32X, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Game Boy Family, Phillips CD-i Model 910, NES, Atari 5200, Virtual Boy, Atari Jaguar, Playstations 3-4

Why are you debating?
Do you want to just throw free stuff away? The club is dead. If you don't put those points in by midnight PST at the end of this month you lose anything and everything you could have had.
If you don't like what's there, throw it in anyway, they may be throwing more junk up on april 1st that could take some coins. And if not, then just settle for something because you paid enough money as it is to get those points, or went enough places to camera phone some cards when no one was looking.

No, like, is t worth it to buy a bunch of Wii u games at once and blow a ton of money just to get the extra oomph to get platinum. I'm already at gold.

Re: Club Nintendo is Being Replaced
Honestly Gooseberry, I wouldn't. The platinum reward will likely be a game that won't retail for more than $15-20 on the eShop. So why drop $50+ on a Wii U titles for unknown game whose value won't be worth your initial costs.
Just seems silly. How far away are you points-wise?

280. I probably won't make that move, yeah. Even if platinum rewards rule, they'd probably be digital downloads of games I'd just purchased??

Re: Club Nintendo is Being Replaced
I'd say that's very likely. You could drop all that cash and get the points, only to find it's a game you could have downloaded from the store for $10-$20.

You shouldn't buy anything to earn points ever. You should only earn points on things you buy anyway.
