Valentines day plans

So after seeing Manson on Monday I told my wife I wanted to fly to Vegas for the last day of the US Manson tour on V day, lol. That did not go over well.

Agreed; no guilt, no stress, and no large outlays of cash. Would I like to find someone? Sure. However that's not in the cards right now.

For this year I think I'll take my girls to the MN Zoo for the day (members so it's already paid for), hit up my favorite comic book shop along with 1/2 Priced Books, and get some food. Lots of fun and great company.

Still trying to get over the ex sadly, though it's getting better. So gonna be dealing with that.

And there's a promotional exam at my job that morning (not as in "Do good and get promoted automatically", but more "Get put on a list to maybe get promoted eventually" because yay civil service). Then hopefully I get out of that relatively quickly, go home, suit up... and go to a funeral Wish I was kidding.

So yeah, V-day's gonna kinda suck. In the evening I plan to visit my parents briefly to give mom a card and some chocolate at least, because I'm an unabashed momma's boy, then I'm gonna make myself a nice steak and some potatoes, then watch Netflix and/or play with my Neo cab. So the evening should make up for the shittiness of the morning.

Very simply valentines day for me, taking my girlfriend out to dinner and gonna watch the NBA All Star Saturday at my place!

I'm gonna start the day working out with my closest friends, then end the day by going to a singles party, err a "Valentine's Day-themed party with friends".. if my friend actually throws it like she says she will.

I'll probably do nothing for the bulk of the day, might squeeze in some Breath of Fire IV and/or some studying for the GRE. You know, in the spare time between my naps and my meals, while I'm digesting
