Noise, I feel like you will enjoy GTA V. I myself lost interest in the GTA series before San Andreas, because I felt the extra activities in the game didn't mesh with the core mechanics. I have played a bit of V and spent a LOT of time doing non-important side things and exploring and I enjoyed it immensely. Now, I have barely scratched the surface on the game proper as I rented it when it first came out, but I couldn't help but pre-order the PC version. My computer can run it and I am excited to play the single player game and interact with friends on GTA Online.

Golf and Tennis anyone!?

The real game changer with 5 is the massive amount of replayability since you have 3 characters to choose from on most missions and each one has a pretty different roll. Each character also has their own side missions and activities(hunting, dog training, drug smuggling, kidnapping, etc.). Aside from that there is just a massive amount of stuff to do including purchasing and running businesses.

I actually played the game back to back once on the 360 and again on the PS3 since I was able to get pretty cheap copies of both and wanted to see if there were any real differences. Pretty much the 360 seemed to have better colors but the graphics seemed sharper on the PS3.

Can't wait to nab a PS4 copy but it will probably take a year or so before I can find it under $20.

Tip for those who have not played GTA V yet. Play all of the side stuff first as you may not be able to enjoy it as much if you try to do it after the story ends. Also, just drive around and check out things. Sometimes you will have something pop up from nowhere that you can do.

Great game, had a blast, played though 3 times now. If you ever enjoyed any GTA game you will loves this.

I do not think the game works well in first person, but each to their own.

GTA V has caught my interest as well it looks really good and the best at what it does. I played the PS1 series mostly, checked out the PS2 versions with 3 being my favorite from a historical point and as of last month geeked out and bought GTA IV, Red Dead & LA Noire since they are great PS3 games.

I don't see GTA V budging in price any time soon, possibly not until GTA VI is announced. It's to good & too popular and that equals $ching ching$.

I got lucky got both of my copies for relatively cheap at my favorite pawn chain. Got the 360 version a week after launch for $20, and ended up getting it for $8 a few months later on the PS3. Sadly I don't think there will be a solid enough supply of used PS4 copies for it to pop up anywhere aside from Gamestop for at least another few months though.

Excluding the PS3 and 360 copies, those have been superseded and aren't definitive versions anymore. I can see snagging up a deal on those, for 20 or less is a good deal so you did alright. ;)

Sword Coast Legends is a D&D RPG due later this year

Image
It'll feature a full single-player campaign, as well as the option for co-op and the opportunity for an additional player to take the role of Dungeon Master.
