Hmm, well it doesn't matter. I have 410 coins right now, with 5 or 6 post-play survey to take. Those surveys are 10 coins each, right? I wont have enough to get the poster set I wanted to. My backup plan was to get a retail U or 3DS game, but I wont have enough for that either. Oh well. At least I got the Zelda puzzle. Like CRT said, we should wait until the Elite gifts are available because they might be all digital like last year. But here's hoping I can get a soundtrack or some other physical prize.

I was able to hit up a friendly neighborhood gamestop and the sales clerk was cool with me going through and getting some more codes off the shelf. I went a little nuts though and I think I managed to bring home almost 25 codes. I now have the puzzle and posters on their way with some coins left over. Might try doing that one more time to maybe get the xl carrying bag and card case before the end of March. :)

Had a guy try and return a Wii U because the gamepad was, "Broken." They wanted to exchange it for another system and, regardless of my insistent refusal, due to our return policy and that Nintendo would fix it for free, my Manager swooped in and said it was ok. They exchange the Wii U and me, with my feathers all ruffled, decide to test their, "broken," Gamepad.

Everything works like a charm. So I'm sitting there wondering, "Why would a person want to exchange a Wii U for another Wii U if their original works?" Co-worker comes up and goes, "Maybe to get more club nintendo points before they shut down."

It dawned on me that that was EXACTLY what they were doing. What a bunch of bums! Even worse is my idiotic manager which took it, even though we STRICTLY CAN'T DO THAT!

Lol, well thats an interesting way to spend a lot of time and money for 150 points. I was already shopping the area when I stopped by the gamestop that hooked me up by letting me take some photos of the point cards . I still bought about $35 in used items on top of that so I don't feel like I cheated gamestop or something.

Unless their rules changed joke is on the fool who returned that, they don't give out coins for every system of the same type you get. It'll register it, even give you the added warranty extension, but if you already registered a system of the same model you're not going to get coins.

Unless you make a separate account to get those coins.

You don't even have to make a separate account. Just add a family member to your main account and you can register multiples and share coins. Works with games and 3DS so I assume it works with consoles too.

I dont get why more people dont do it this way, I keep seeing people looking to trade codes for games they already registered but I register multiple games all the time. My wife and I often get 2 of the same game when we are both interested in it (for 3ds) and I have registered 3 3ds XL's on my account.
